What does Botox treatment involve?
Botox® treatment takes around 15-30 mins to perform and is not painful as the needle is very fine.
The toxin is injected into a few specific points based on what concerns you may have.
You may feel a few small pinpricks but that’s it.
No anaesthetic is required.
How long will it last?
After your treatment it will take a few days (on average five) for you to start to notice the effect, and it can take up to two weeks for it to take full effect dependent on the individual.
Botox® lasts between three and five months as the toxin on temporarily blocks the signals from the nerve endings.
When they re-establish new signals, lines and wrinkles re-appear.
